Leave room for Contrition, Confession and Brokenness in your services.

Celebration will always get the Lion's Share of the time, but give some
time to repentance, deep prayer and confession of sin during the service.

Don't create an atmosphere of "Mandated Happiness." Do people have
to be happy to come to your church or can they be whatever they are at
the time.

Don't only use music in a major key. Do some "cranky" music.
Remember, there is a whole book in the Bible named "Lamentations"
Why not do some lamenting?

Avoid "cliché" solutions and easy answers.
