say it's an 'A' string, and you hum an 'A' that string will begin to vibrate.
The 'D' won't, the 'G' won't, the 'E' won't, the 'A' will, because it was
created and tuned to vibrate with that tone. And I think that the thing
about the story--God's story--is that when it is told well. And when it
is applied well (not necessarily three application points) and when it
is supported in a sensory kind of way in the course of the service. Something
inside our heart starts to vibrate, regardless of if we say we are a Christian
or not, because we were created with our hearts to vibrate with that story." |
